Invincible Boats Lays Out Customer Service Strategy, Makes New Hire

Invincible Boats is pleased to announce the addition of Gustavo Chevres, a veteran of both the marine and automotive industries, as the company’s Customer Service Manager. Chevres brings nearly 30 years of experience, including a 14-year stint as Porsche’s global brand ambassador at The Collection, a Coral Gables-based dealership specializing in luxury and exotic sports cars. Chevres looks to bring that same industry-leading standard to Invincible.

“It has been a priority wherever I have been to develop and foster personal relationships with our customers,” Chevres said. “Invincible customers are very passionate about the quality of our product so it’s important that the experience we provide matches their excitement.”

This renewed focus on customer service is part of the larger investment strategy spearheaded by President and CEO John Dorton. The plan calls for upgraded facilities and systems upgrades, as well as enhancements in dealer network support.

“We are building high-performance boats for an audience with a particular lifestyle; they are serious fishermen and divers with specific performance goals in mind,” Dorton said. “They come in with high expectations and we want to make sure we meet those expectations from the first moment they walk in our door and every subsequent time after that.”

A recently-announced 50,000 square-foot factory expansion revealed plans for an Invincible Factory Showroom, which aims to deliver an all-encompassing customer experience.The showroom will be home for customers to plan the build specs for their new Invincible, or to look for new accessories to enhance their current Invincible.

“We aim to provide a level of service that gives customers a reason to stay. We’re committed to doing that and embracing the opportunities ahead,” Chevres said.

Some of those opportunities are immediate as the company plans to grow and train its service staff to meet its ever-expanding customer base, as well as arm them with a fleet of new service vehicles. Chevres and the team will also be implementing a new software system so that everything ranging from parts, claims, staffing and availability can be monitored in real-time.

“We take pride in building what we believe to be the best boats in the market,” Dorton said. “These next steps in customer service will help us provide an experience that is second to none in the industry, which is what our customers expect from us given the quality and performance of our product.”
